This theme focuses on building capacity and infrastructure within the North-East LAC. The approaches used will depend on the needs of the communities in the wards across the area. These could include, community planning, investing in community leaders and volunteers, supporting community led activities, developing community assets, and improving community engagement, linked to voice and influence. The project will use a strength-based approaches to working with local people and organisations.
The priorities for this theme:
To make better use of community buildings and services available
To help people to shape their local community
To provide a good mix of decent housing that is affordable across all tenures
To work together to promote and help groups working in the local community

This project focuses on informing people about the LAC, advertising who we are and the services and support that we offer.
