Sheffield Local Area Committees
Sheffield has seven Local Area Committees (LACs), and each one is made up of four wards. Each Sheffield Local Area Committee consists of twelve elected members for the four wards. This includes a Chair and a Vice Chair who are elected by the Local Area Committee. LACs work together with partners and stakeholders to link services and operate effectively in line with the needs of the community to deliver the priorities. Local Area Committees (LACs) are a way for people to make a difference in their area and communities. The LACs are an opportunity for people to get involved, say what is great about their area, what improvements they would like to see and what matters to them and their community. LACs are a chance for people to influence decision making, share their opinion and contribute to positive changes in their community. Not sure which LAC you are in?
