Consultation has concluded
THE FIRST CONSULTATION PHASE TO HELP US DEVELOP THE STRATEGY HAS NOW CONCLUDED. THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO PARTICIPATED.
WE WILL BE DRAFTING THE NEW STRATEGY OVER AUTUMN 2024 AND WILL BE SEEKING THE PUBLIC'S FEEDBACK ON THIS IN LATE 2023 / EARLY 2024.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THE STRATEGY OR TO BE NOTIFIED WHEN THE NEXT CONSULTATION PHASE BEGINS, PLEASE CONTACT THE STRATEGIC HOUSING SERVICE AT: HousingStrategy@sheffield.gov.uk / 0114 2736396
Welcome to Sheffield City Council’s consultation to help us develop our plan for improving housing choices and support services for people in later life.
We want Sheffield to be a great place to grow old and housing is crucial to achieving this ambition. Our new plan (strategy) will help us to support older people to live active and independent lives in the homes they prefer to live in.
We would like to hear your views on what types of housing and support services need to be prioritised by the Council and its partners.
To help us decide what we need to focus on in our plan, you can:
Complete one of our surveys
Share your thoughts on our ideas board
Take a quick poll about some draft priorities we have identified
This consultation will end on August 18th but we will seek your views again on the draft strategy document once it has has been written later in the year.
More information about the strategy and why we think it is needed is available to read by clicking on the links on this page.
