Consultation has concluded
Installing a K frame and temporary fence
The South Local Area Committee continue to support diverse community initiatives, engage with a variety of partners, listen to community concerns to ensure positive community wellness. Over the years, residents living at/around Summerhouse Drive have expressed the need to close the cut through to reduce anti - social behaviour and off road bikes.
As a committee, we are suggesting the installation of a K frame to replace the current bollards to increase security at the Norton Green Estate. In addition to this, we hope to develop a temporary fence around the hedge until it fully grows back, to ensure further security and minimise off road bike access.
However, we are fully aware that these measures can cause accessibility issues for some residents, therefore by completing this survey will be an important step to ensure the right decision is made collaboratively, without further causing additional access barriers.
Once we have collectively received your responses we will be in touch with the next steps
Thank you South LAC Team
