Consultation has concluded
The Stocksbridge Towns Fund Board is looking to work with local transport providers to deliver a Stocksbridge Hopper bus service to better connect different parts of the town.
The aspiration is to create a regular, reliable, and sustainable service which links with the current public transport services in the town. It will enhance connectivity for residents of the outlying areas as well as the core residential areas within Stocksbridge and Deepcar.
The Towns Fund Board has submitted a Business Case to Government to provide the new Stocksbridge Hopper style service as one of the ten key projects which are aimed at making major improvements across the town.
The routes which can be provided will depend on viability, but to assist the Board and the service provider to shape these proposals we would love to hear your views.
