South LAC

The primary purpose of the Local Area Committees (LACs) is to promote the involvement of local people in the democratic process and to bring decision making closer to local people.

As part of the Committee structure within Sheffield City Council, each Local Area Committee across the city hold 4 public meetings in community settings between June - March each year. Our intention is to enable local people to influence decision making, share opinion's, thoughts and issues which will positively contribute towards improving your local area.
