It is important to maximise attendance at the Schools Forum and for Forum members to represent their sector; ensuring that Forum decisions are communicated and consulted upon where appropriate.
Since September 2022, we have reverted to holding meetings of the Schools Forum face-to-face as per the general consensus of Forum members. Whilst overall we feel that these meetings are more engaging, we think that attendance can sometimes be affected due to the additional travel time. We don't think that hybrid meetings are the solution (other than potentially for attendance of presenters). However, it could be an option to hold some meetings face-to-face and others online depending on the agenda items and level of discussion that may be required.
