Sheffield City Council’s Religion & Belief Guide 2023 - Consultation
We are currently refreshing Sheffield City Council’s Religion & Belief Guide and wish to consult with staff.
The purpose of the guide is to support council staff to be adequately informed about different religious denominations, observances and practices from a range of different faiths and those with no faith, so they can have a greater degree of awareness and offer a more inclusive service to Sheffield’s citizensand working environment for colleagues.
The existing guide was developed in 2011 with the last census data, which has been updated in the attached document. But we also want to ensure the information on different faiths and no faith is accurate and up to date so we are giving current information.
Could you have a look at the Religion & Belief Guide attached to this page and consider the following questions?
Are there any inaccurate statements, including missing information?
Is there any out-of-date terminology?
Would any additional resources/links be useful?
Is the format and layout of the guide helpful?
You can feedback your comments via the survey below.
Please return comments by 5pm on Friday 2 June.
Thank you.
