Each local authority is required by the Department of Education to consult with parents and carers, each year to gain feedback on childcare needs of families in the city and their experiences of trying to access childcare.
If you take the survey your response will help us to work with childcare providers and schools, to plan and improve their provision based on the needs of families in the city.
The closing date of the survey has been extended to 24 September 2025
We will report on results of the survey in Sheffield's Childcare Sufficiency Assessment which will be available in November 2025 on the City Council's website.
