Longley Park Playground Improvements

Sheffield City Council's Parks and Countryside Service are planning improvements to Longley Park to improve the quality of the playground and sports provisions next to the Crowder Road car park.

  • A first round of consultation organised by the Northeast Local Area Committee (LAC) was used to find out what the priorities and concerns are in the local community and to gather information which we will use when planning the design.     Consultation sessions with groups of young residents have been arranged to allow these important site users to provide feedback on the first stage of the feasibility designs. Groups of primary and secondary school age will be asked about:

    • Prioritisation of types of play equipment.
    • Arrangement and layout of seating and play equipment.
