Consultation for Special Schools Only:

The Department for Education (DfE) has changed their approach to three new grants in 2024/2025. Instead of requesting that local authorities simply pass on the allocated sum of money to special schools and specialist providers, they are allowing local authorities flexibility regarding how to allocate and placing a requirement for local authorities to consult. Please tell us if you agree with the proposed methodology and distribution methods by 20 January 2024.
