In partnership with Keep Britain Tidy, the Local Area Committee will continue to fund the Do It For Your Dog Campaign across specific sites in the North-East of Sheffield. Banners and signs will continue to be displayed around the streets in our Local Area, reminding dog owners to pick up their dogs' poop. Keep an eye out in Abbeyfield Park, Concord Park, Longley 4 Greens, Firth Park park, Parsons Cross park, Verdon Centre, Foxhill and Ellesmere Green for Ben the Boxer!

It has been suggested to us that we provide dog bag dispensers in hot spot areas. Once this is in place, we will inform you of the areas where these will be provided. Use the link at the bottom of the page to share any ideas you may have to keep our streets and parks free of dog poo.

In order to continue tackling the issue of dog fouling in Sheffield, we are launching a new Dog Fouling Hot Spots Campaign. To be successful, we need your help in identifying these Hot Spots. Please see below to access a map and have your say on areas where dog fouling is an issue.

Dog Fouling Hot Spots

4 months

As part of this project, we need your help locating areas that are prone to dog fouling.

To use the map, please follow these simple instructions.

1. Locate the relevant location on the map. This can be done either by zooming in and dragging the screen, or by searching for a postcode or location using the search tool in the top right corner of the map.

2. Click the + icon on the left hand side of the screen to reveal the pins.

3. Select the pin.

4. Drag and drop the pin onto the relevant location within the map. If you are using a mobile device you will need to click 'Set the location' in the top right hand corner.

5. A box will pop up which allows you to provide further details, ask questions, and upload photographs.

All information you provide via this map will be visible to other users and therefore we encourage you not to reveal any personal information about yourself or others.

To use this map you will either need to provide an email and screen name, or register to Have Your Say .

Please note that your screen name will be publicly visible on the map. If you have already registered to Have Your Say and wish to change your screen name, you can do this by selecting the person icon in the top right of your screen, then selecting 'edit profile'.
