The British Transplant Games - Performance opportunities

The British Transplant Games are coming to Sheffield! This annual event hosts 1500 competitors in 26 different sports, celebrating and raising awareness about organ donations.

There are two opportunities for groups of dancers/musicians/artists to be a part of this.

There will be an Opening Ceremony on 6th August at 6.30pm with a parade of athletes going from Tudor Square to the City Hall, and the organisers are looking for a band/troupe that could lead the parade. For example, this could be a samba band, a dance troupe or something else flamboyant to bring some vibrancy to the ceremony!

They are also looking for a second group to create some exciting photo opportunities with the many child competitors ahead of the parade at 5.30pm – something fun, visual and interactive would be perfect.

The main criteria is that each activity needs to already have already been curated/established, and a fee of £500 will be paid to the chosen groups of artists.
