Imagine it’s 2040 and your area is thriving. What’s the story of how it got there?
The Local Government Association, the national body for councils in England, has opened Your Place, Your Future, a national conversation about the future of the places we live in. It wants to hear from the people who live in them, and we want your voice to be part of that.
It’s an open conversation. Share your story under three questions about your area: what the council did to help, what was already strong in your community, and what helped people and the council work well together. Read what others have said and like the ideas you agree with. It takes 10 to 15 minutes, works on a phone, and there are no wrong answers.
What people say will shape the LGA’s work with councils and government on the next 15 years, and we’ll hear back what people in your area have said. Open until Friday 13 November 2026. Take part at https://lga.clevertogether.com
