The Sheffield Trees and Woodlands Strategy is undergoing a refresh, and we would like to invite you to share your thoughts on the current document, and make suggestions for anything you think should be included, amended or removed going forward.
Why update the Strategy?
There have been several pieces of legislation that have been introduced or changed since 2018, and we want to make sure that the document accounts for these and continues to be fit for purpose.
There are also areas of the document which need to be updated to reflect current working practices and developments in the field of tree and woodland management.
What next?
If you are interested in Trees and Woodlands across our city, and would like to have an input on the content of the refreshed strategy, please fill in the suggestion boxes in the form below. Please note you do not need to fill in every box.
The current strategy document can be accessed via the document section of this page.
Once all suggestions have been reviewed and accounted for, the Trees and Woodlands Strategy document will be updated, approved by elected members, and released on the council website here: Trees and Woodlands Strategies | Sheffield City Council
Don’t miss your chance to share your views, the survey closes on the 24th October.
