This page is for you to connect with tenants, residents and community groups across Sheffield. Here you can share ideas, make helpful contacts and support one another in your community.

On this page you can use our interactive map to search for and tell others about things that are happening in your area, or share ideas on our board. Scroll down to the bottom of this page, and click on 'Ideas' or 'Survey' to view.

This page is managed by the Involvement Team in Housing and Neighbourhoods Service at Sheffield City Council, who offer advice and support for tenants, residents and community groups across the city. You can find more information about what we do by emailing us.

Our team supports Tenants and Residents Associations (TARAs) within Sheffield. If you want to find out more about TARAs please go to our website.

In the Housing and Neighbourhoods Service we have lots of different ways that you can engage with us. These include:

• Get to know what’s happening through emails, newsletters, bulletins, leaflets, social media posts. Subscribe here(External link). Time commitment: none to only a few minutes
• Want to have your say but limited by time or other factors? You can complete surveys (please click here to view all our current consultations), use the ideas board at the bottom of this page, or the interactive map below. Time commitment: a few minutes as and when you choose
• Short sessions/focus groups (online or in person) to discuss a particular topic and solutions, networking and sharing good practice, mystery shopping. For more information about these, please follow this link. Time commitment: 0-3 hours per month
• Challenging how we do things and making a positive difference to how we operate, working on specific service areas which interest you. For more information about these activities, please follow this link. Time commitment: 0-6 hours per month while the project is running
