Help shape the new Technology Enabled Care service in Sheffield
As a follow up to our Marketplace event during the Festival of Involvement, come along to one of these one-hour workshops for people receiving social care support and unpaid carers.
Tuesday 12 September, 10.30am-11.30am and 2-3pm, online on Teams
Wednesday 13 September, 12-1pm, in person followed by lunch, St Mary's Church, Bramall Lane S2 4QZ
What is Technology Enabled Care?
Technology Enabled Care is a range of equipment that is installed in people’s homes such as the Citywide Care Alarms Careline and Pendant and virtual home care shown in this video.
About these workshops
These workshops follow on from a Marketplace event in May (which offered a chance to try out a range of new equipment) and some early focus groups looking at what TEC we should offer in Sheffield.
This next round of workshops provide an opportunity for local people with experience of adult social care to:
hear what information we captured from the focus groups
feed back on the early ideas for our new TEC service.
Who can attend
This event is open to:
people who receive adult social care support or may need it
If you need help to attend one of these workshops, we can provide access and support expenses for things like travel, or extra PA or carer cover time. To make arrangements or if you have any dietary requirements for lunch on 13 September, please email Sarah.Swinburn@sheffield.gov.uk
