Springfield Nursery Closure Consultation

Springfield Primary School, its Governors and Sheffield City Council are proposing to permanently close the Nursery provision at Springfield Primary School by the 25th of July 2025. Springfield Primary School, its Governors, and Sheffield City Council are holding a consultation on this proposal for a 6-week period from today, Friday 11th of October 2024, to Friday 22nd of November 2024.

The consultation is being undertaken using various methods to allow as many people from the community to respond with their views as possible. A “Have Your Say” Survey has been launched for families, people, partners and businesses in the community to respond. This Survey can be translated into many different languages on the “Have Your Say” platform to support the community’s response.

There will also be consultation sessions held throughout the consultation period to support people with completing the Survey, and/or to have more in-depth feedback discussions on the proposal where required.
