Skye Edge Fields lie in the Wybourn estate of the Manor and Castle ward. It is covered by the East Local Area Committee and has an active Friends Group dedicated to improving the site for local children and families.
Friends of Skye Edge Fields are supported by locally elected councillors and the LAC to work with the Parks and Countryside Service to raise funding for new play facilities on site.
The project currently has some secured funding from CIL and Public Health. To secure all the play equipment required on site there will be a need to apply for external funding bids.
