Powering Up Sheffield, Powering Down Costs: Creating the Business Decarbonisation Routemap
Energy bills rising? Carbon reduction on your radar? Be part of the conversation shaping Sheffield’s future.
Businesses will play an incredibly important role in shaping the future for the city by reducing their carbon emissions. Your business can support Sheffield to meet its net zero goals and unlock benefits like access to funding, save on energy bills, and become part of a wider business community. We need your involvement to make a Business and Economy Decarbonisation Routemap* that works for you. The routemap will offer guidance, support, and a range of actions to help you get started or continue your carbon reduction journey.
We’re inviting businesses of all sizes and sectors to help shape a routemap that is practical, inclusive, and impactful.
*The Business and Economy Decarbonisation Routemap builds on the wider Decarbonisation Routemap for Sheffield (published chapters can be found here), to drive a collective decarbonisation transition across Sheffield. For more information on the development of this routemap, please access the recording of the Awareness Workshop held earlier this month here.
Have your say through our survey.
The survey will gather the opportunities you see, and the challenges you face for carbon reduction. Your feedback will directly inform the development of the routemap, ensuring it reflects the real needs and priorities of Sheffield’s business landscape. Whether you're already taking action or unsure where to start, we want to hear what support would make the biggest difference. Use the Survey Tool below to get started.
The survey will close on the 22nd December 2025.
