August 2026: Update on Broad Lane/Tenter Street works

The works being carried at the Broad Lane /Tenter Street junction to improve the highway have been delayed. This is due to an unexpected issue with construction equipment.

Our contractor, Sisk, is committed to completing the work as quickly as possible. They are now expected to be completed by Friday 28 August. The road closure and traffic management arrangements will then be removed.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank road users, residents, and businesses for their patience while these works are completed.
