Works scheduled to start in Spring 2026

Improvement works in Mount Pleasant Park are due to commence in early April 2026. Works will be phased over a 12 week programme starting with the removal of the wet pour surfacing and existing play equipment. Next works to the scoot track will commence and installation of the new safety surfacing and equipment into the main play area. Lastly, the MUGA will be re-surfaced and re-lined (for football and basketball) and new basketball hoops erected. When works are complete and our independent play inspector approves all the work, we will arrange a opening event in partnership with Sharrow Community Forum.
