Leasehold Management Policy Consultation – Have Your Say
Sheffield City Council is inviting feedback from leaseholders and tenants on the clarity and accessibility of our new Leasehold Management Policy.
The policy has been developed to provide a clear framework for managing leasehold properties, outlining responsibilities, service charges, and communication standards. While each leaseholder receives a copy of their lease, this policy aims to simplify and summarise key information in a way that’s easy to follow.
We want to ensure that the document is straightforward and user-friendly. Your views will help us improve how we communicate important information and support leaseholders in understanding their rights and obligations.
Please take a few moments to review the policy and share your thoughts on how clear and accessible it is. Your feedback will directly inform how we present and explain leasehold matters going forward.

Please note that this survey is open to tenants and leaseholders of Sheffield City Council
We have devised a new Leasehold Management Policy in line with our current lease. It is designed as a reference for both the Council and Leaseholders to use. This document serves as a policy guide and is therefore comprehensive and detailed, rather than a concise handbook.
We want to make sure that the wording is easy to understand and makes it clear what both the Council's and the leaseholder responsibilities are.
Before completing this survey please ensure that you have read our new Leasehold Management Policy. You can find the new Leasehold Management Policy by clickinghere or you can also find it in the Documents section of the project page.
