Friends of Groups and Environmental Volunteers survey 2025

Sheffield City Council Parks and Countryside Service has commissioned this survey to help to gain a better overview and understanding of the Friends of Groups and Environmental Volunteers who are vital to helping to look after and support our green spaces. We want to make sure we have up to date information about your group, what you do, what you need and how you feel about this volunteering. We will use this information to update our overview of groups for the city, learn more about your groups and improve the services and partnership we provide to groups. We will also use the information provided to communicate with other partners about the brilliant work volunteers accomplish in the city, to celebrate your achievements and help the public learn more about groups by sharing summaries of the information provided. This will support the Council’s strategic planning around partnership working in green spaces.

Profile Information: We do not require your name on this survey.  In this instance, this relates to your email address (if you choose to share an individual (personal email address and not a group generic one). We collect this information:

• So we can ensure we stay in touch with all of you about key changes, activities and support we can provide to Friends groups.
• We only use it for Parks & Countryside purposes in relation to parks activities and friends group information and will not share it with third parties

Requesting access or correcting your personal information:

• To access your personal data and to rectify any inaccuracies within that personal data
• To request for the deletion of your personal data residing with us
