Arundel Gate overnight works - Thursday 2 July

We are making more space for people in the city centre, and helping you to have genuine choice in how you travel.

As part of our Connecting Sheffield: City Centre project, we are improving the experience for bus passengers on Arundel Gate.

We are currently working near bus stop AG13 outside the Sheffield Hallam University Adsetts Centre.

On Thursday 2 July, we will be working overnight in this area to remove existing road surface and install new kerbs.

We will work overnight, from 8pm to 5am, so our team can work safely. This will also reduce disruption for traffic during the day on this busy section of road.

During the work, the existing traffic lights will be out of use, with temporary lights in place. These will include a pedestrian crossing facility.

Although the work should not be particularly noisy, we will do any work that does generate noise before 10pm to keep disruption to a minimum.

Please plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey if you are travelling through the area while we are working.
