Sheffield City Council's Parks and Countryside Service are planning improvements to Concord Park in order to raise the overall quality of the site, encourage increased use, and enable more people to access the health and wellbeing benefits of using our parks and greenspaces.

This Have Your Say Sheffield page is work in progress and is intended to be a space for sharing information and engaging with the local community about the development of the improvement(s) including updates, designs, plans, and consultation.

This page will also provide a space for the community to keep engaged with the project and provide further opportunities for comments, feedback, and the sharing of ideas about Concord Park and Woolley Wood...

The News Feed will provide updates on the improvement project and general items about the park

The initial focus of the improvements will be to develop and deliver the priorities identified in the consultation undertaken at the end of 2022 - the results of which can be found here.

A follow up consultation in the summer of 2024 asked the local community what they would want from an 'All Wheels Park' in Concord Park to allow us to plan and design a facility which best meets the need of the local community - the results of which can be found here

In early 2025 the North East Local Area Committee has worked with Parks and Countryside and other services conducted further engagement with the local community to prioritise the spending of the £100K Public Health funds which are currently allocated to the site and to shape future improvement plans and funding opportunities for the green space - the results of which will be shared shortly.
