We are setting up a new Communication and Tenant Satisfaction Panel (CATS) and would love for you to get involved.

We want our CATS Group to be a place for members to:

  • Provide feedback on how we communicate and share information with you.
  • Provide feedback on how tenant satisfaction could be improved.
  • Monitor our complaints performance and ensure we follow the Housing Ombudsman’s Complaints Handling Code.
  • Help us improve our tenant engagement work so that you have more influence in how we deliver our services.

And much more!

We are hoping our website will give you an overview of our panel, and what it would mean to get involved. There are lots of documents and resources designed to help you decide if you want to join in.

This site is also a place to share your thoughts and opinions within our tenant and leaseholder community.

We encourage you to:

  • Share your thoughts, concerns, and suggestions through our feedback channels.
  • Take part in online discussions and forums.
  • Attend our events and workshops wherever possible - dates are now available under the 'Key Dates' Section to the right.

Please email us at getinvolved@sheffield.gov.uk and we will be more than happy to add you to our distribution list and meeting invites.

We have analysed the survey results and have opted to host both in person and online meetings, at varying times throughout the day to try and reach as many of you as possible. Details will be posted at least 3 months in advance of the date and time of any meetings, and whether they are online or in person. The location for the in person meetings has not yet been decided, and a survey asking for preferences on location is now live. Please fill in the survey here: In-Person Location Survey.

Remember, that you do not need to attend every meeting in order to make a difference, so please do not worry if some of the dates don't quite work for you. You can still be part of the Panel.

Your involvement is essential to help us build a brighter future for you! Together, we can build a more informed, engaged, and empowered community where everyone's voice is heard.

Thank you for reading, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
