Draft plan consultation

Sheffield’s city centre is in an exciting period of transformation and growth. As more people live, work, shop and visit our city centre, the demand for transport into and around the centre will increase. Our City Centre Access and Movement Plan will set out what the city centre’s transport networks, streets and spaces will look like by 2040 to ensure they work well for everyone.

Over seven weeks in December 2024 and January 2025, we gathered your feedback on the city centre transport network. You shared what works, what doesn’t, and your priorities for future improvements. You told us you want easier, safer, healthier, less polluting and more joined-up travel options.

We have used your feedback to develop this draft City Centre Access and Movement Plan. It’s bold and transformational and aligns with our vision for a cleaner, greener, thriving city centre, with people-friendly, prosperous streets.

Now, we want to hear what you think about this plan.

The following survey asks for your opinions on key parts of the draft plan. We will use your feedback to develop the final version later this year.
