Final plan - January 2026

The City Centre Access and Movement Plan was approved at the Sheffield City Council Transport, Regeneration and Climate Policy Committee on Wednesday 17 December 2025.

You can now read the final approved plan, which takes on board the feedback you gave us during our transport conversation in December 2024 and January 2025, and the draft plan consultation in summer 2025.

Next steps

Now that the plan is approved, we're now exploring the projects that we set out in the City Centre Access and Movement Plan to improve our city centre streets and give you more choice in how you travel.
