Carer Voice Group
Sheffield Carer Voice group provides an opportunity for unpaid carers to share your experiences of health or social care services, to improve them for other carers.
You are an expert through your experience of caring and can have a say in services, policies and decisions that affect you and the people that you care for. We call this ‘carer voice’.
What can I expect from Sheffield Carer Voice?
Sheffield Carer Voice is focused on getting things done to make Sheffield a better place for carers. We want the group to be led by carers, for carers, so we know what matters to you.
The group also involves people who work for:
- Sheffield Carers Centre
- Sheffield Young Carers
- Sheffield Teaching Hospitals
- Sheffield City Council
- Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust.
These people will be there to listen, support and create change to improve things for carers.
How to take part
These are a hybrid meetings, meaning you can either attend in person or online on Teams. There are no expectations on carers who attend, so please join us to help make Sheffield a carer friendly city.
